About the Play Like Lizzie Scholarship Fund
About Elizabeth
She Played with Joy, Grit, and a Team-First Heart
Elizabeth Angle loved soccer the way only true players do — fully, joyfully, and with everything she had.

Her Story
A Player Who Made Everyone Better
Elizabeth Angle played soccer the way she lived — with her whole heart. She worked hard every day to improve, encouraged her teammates through wins and losses, and brought an energy to every training session and match that made her team better just by being there.
She was coachable, selfless, and fiercely committed. She wasn't just a good player — she was a great teammate. The kind coaches dream about and players remember for the rest of their lives.
This scholarship exists to keep girls like Elizabeth on the field — girls who love the game, show up fully, and make their team better. It's our way of honoring who she was and growing female participation in youth sports in her name.

Why We Started This
No girl should have to walk away from the sport she loves because her family can't afford club fees. Elizabeth's memory gives us the mission — her spirit gives us the drive.
"Elizabeth played with joy, commitment, and a team-first attitude. She worked hard to improve every day and gave her full effort in everything she did."
